SMOOVE
Smoove is the thesis project for my Master’s degree in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. This project was inspired by my passion in traveling. I wanted to create something that makes life of travelers as smooth as possible. I found that one of the most common mistakes that the travelers made was forgetting to pack their important stuff for their trip. The consequences of forgetting can be in any level, but it can be very severe, if you forget some of the important items like your passport.
This is the reason why I created Smoove, a seamless packing app that is connected to any of the traveler’s essential items with the travel bag to form a special reminder system for the travelers, to enable them to have a smooth and successful trip. The project contributes to the packers that are in need of special reminders, especially those who will be in an unpleasant situation if they forget some of their important items.

PRODUCT CONCEPT AND FINAL PROTOTYPE
FUNCTIONAL PROTOTYPE
I did manage to make the technical prototype working. In the video, the RFID scanner is attached to the bag, after the user scans the item that has the RFID sticker, it will automatically show in the app that the item has been checked. This is the technical prototype that I developed during the first half of my thesis, at the second half I did design Smoove bag that implement the scanner, which you can see in the picture above. I also add the visual in the app and create a corporate identity for all the Smoove products.
